TKX-043

Prior to taking the world by storm with his revered Ukraine-based label Antifur, hardvapour bossman Vladyk Predovitch spent his teenage years teaching himself how to play piano on an old Casio keyboard he found in an abandoned meat-packing plant just outside his home city of Mykolaiv.

With his name on the rise as one of 2016's leading music figures, and being written about in esteemed publications such as Dazed and Confused, Pigeons & Planes, FACT, Marcel's Music Journal, Tiny Mix Tapes, and many others, Predovitch takes a break from the hard gabber kicks and distorted bass he has become associated with and returns to his youthful roots here with "Plays...", a wistful and complex LP in which the talented pianist-turned-DJ jams out two movements of thoughtful free jazz electric piano in the vein of a Herbie Hancock or Chick Corea circa 1979

So turn off your Hardvapour mixtapes for 40 minutes, put your feet up and wipe the dust off that Dostoyevsky novel you've been meaning to read for the past few years and enjoy, as Vladyk Predovitch, quite enchantingly, plays...
